First United Methodist Church has stood in the heart of downtown Dallas for 160 years. In that time, the neighborhood, the city and the world have changed around us. The internet and our ability to express our selves globally is a great example of that change. However, our calling remains unchanged: to worship God, to be disciples of Christ, and to serve others. This website is a reflection of our vibrant mission and ministries that serve not only our members but embrace the needs of our community as well. Even with all of our virtual pages displayed here, it’s important to remember that ultimately we are about the people: the people we serve, the people we are, and the people we strive to be.
