Kristin Moore is a music specialist at Anderson Elementary School in the Frisco Independent School District. Prior to teaching in Frisco, Kristin was an elementary music specialist for Plano ISD. She has regularly conducted extracurricular instrumental ensembles for the 4^th and 5^th graders and also children’s choirs for the past 6 years.

Kristin received her Bachelor of Music in Music Theory from Southern Methodist University in 2000, and a Masters of Music in Music Theory and Masters of Music in Music Education from Southern Methodist University in 2003. Kristin earned her Kodaly all-level certification from Plano ISD/UNT program and her Orff Schulwerk certification from SMU.

She and her husband, Matt, recently celebrated their 10 wedding anniversary. They are the proud parents of Drew, age 5 and Josh, age 2. And avid runner, Kristin runs several marathons and half marathons every year. She is excited to join the Music and Arts staff here at FUMC, and looks forward to working with our kindergarten and first grade children in Carol Choir and our second and third grade children in the Orff Ensemble in the fall.
