First Mentors' Retreats
Each quarter First Mentors sponsors a retreat. During summer and winter we sponsor half day retreats here in the city. During Fall and Spring we sponsor full day retreats at one of the Methodist Camps at Lake Bridgeport or Lake Texoma. Past topic have included "Looking and Listening for God," "Senior Issues Forum" and "Faith in the Face of Illness, Injury and Injustice."

SeniorNet
Are you interested in learning more about computers? Would you
like to learn about e-mail, using the internet, and other features
of the “information age?” C. C. Young offers a program
called SeniorNet taught by seniors, for seniors.
AARP
The downtown chapter of the AARP meets at First Church on the first
Thursday of every month. They offer information that is important
to seniors, as well as interesting speakers, field trips to interesting
locations around the Dallas area, opportunities for travel to
more distant locations, and warm fellowship. If you’d like
