Note: All volunteers with FUMC Dallas youth are required to complete an application, background check, interview and child protection training. All volunteers must be members of the church for a minimum of 6 months in order to work with the youth program (except for SEEK Camp – it is a conference event). Senior High mission trip to Slidell, LA.

Higher Ground Mentor
Mentors meet with Higher Ground Youth group on Sunday evenings from 4:30-7:00 p.m. They help to design and prepare programming, as well as facilitate share groups.

This is a year commitment from August – August of each year and requires attending one summer trip and one weekend trip per year. Training is provided in regular meetings.

Sunday School Teacher
Teachers for grades 6-12 are needed on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Curriculum and training are provided in regular meetings. This is a year commitment from August to August on a rotating basis according to team teacher’s schedules.

Sunday School Assistant
Sunday school assistants help to gather supplies, take roll and provide support for the youth Sunday school teachers on Sunday mornings. This is a year long commitment.
