Set in the late 19th century in Gray, Indiana, the play centers on June Muldoon, a determined 15-year old who’s father has just died. June prays for a healer to come so that no one in the town will ever suffer again. In almost mythical fashion, a tornado blows into town a hot air balloon with a man on board claiming to be a doctor, Galen Gray. Galen is having his own crisis of faith and his talk of germs and medicine is baffling. The townsfolk of Gray, and Gray the man, struggle to find a balance between Faith and Science. “Anatomy of Gray” is a fable for all ages and a powerful reminder that sometimes in order to find yourself, you must first lose your way.
